This policy explains how coupons get onto BossCoupons, how we keep them accurate, and what we do when they stop working.
Offers arrive through three channels: official brand partners (brands that register, pass identity review, and submit their own codes — each submission is moderated before going live), affiliate network feeds (official merchant data matched to the correct store), and our own editorial research. We do not bulk-scrape unverified coupon dumps. Every submission must state: the discount, any minimum spend, exclusions and an expiry date where one exists.
Before a code goes live — and periodically after — we check it: date validity, merchant-link health and, where possible, code recognition at checkout. Shoppers add a second layer: every coupon carries "Did it work?" voting, and aggregated votes produce the success-rate badge you see on the site.
When a code's success rate drops sharply, or its link fails repeated checks, it is automatically flagged and pulled from listings pending review.
Expired offers are retired automatically on their end date. If we learn a code died early, it's removed as soon as we see the evidence — shopper votes usually surface this within hours. Corrections to offer terms are made on the listing itself; if we get something materially wrong, we fix it and, where shoppers were misled, note the correction.
Merchants cannot buy placement, remove competitors, or veto how their offers are described. See our affiliate disclosure for how commissions work without influencing rankings.
Votes are deduplicated per account and per session to keep results honest. Automated or coordinated voting is filtered, and users engaging in it may lose voting privileges.
